January Newsletter

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and New years! We had a wonderful time visiting with our family and I’m excited to get back to school and see all the kiddos.

Jan. 9-13 we will be learning about MLK and doing a review on letters C, G and T

MONDAY January 16^th there will be no school due to MLK day BUT we will have a field trip to the Fire station that morning at 10 am all parents will be responsible for bringing their children there and sibling are always welcome. We will ALL meet at the Menifee Fire Station at 10 am and after there will be no additional activities. The Fire station is located on the corner of Menifee and Newport Road (it is a white building)

Jan. 17-20 we will work on the Letter O Theme: Olympics

This will be a fun week were we will play in our own Olympics and even win metalsJ

Jan. 23-27 we will work on Letter P Theme: Penguins

All month we will be working on the colors Black and white and the shape: Rectangle

Mark your calendars now for our Literacy Night. February 9^th will be the 3 yr. old classes and February 10^th for the 4 yr. classes from 6-7ish For the Literacy Night the kids can come wearing their PJ’s, blanket and bring their favorite story (please not too long of a story so we can have time to read everyone’s) then each parent can read their child’s book to the kids. We will have a snack during story time and the great part is they will be all ready for bedJ We did this last year and the kids all loved it so much thought it would be a good thing to do again.

I can’t wait to see everyone back on Monday, and PLEASE make sure you bring payment for January. 3 year old classes $95 and 4 yr. old classes $135
